Walking from the Swan

From the Thames Path to the Ridgeway, simplify things and just walk!

The Thames Path Follows the river over 180 miles from the Costwolds, through the glorious Oxfordshire countryside, eventually to Greenwich.

The path, which can be followed by walkers of all ages, brings you through Goring & Streatley.

Lardon Chase overlooking Goring and Streatley is a National trust protected hill and perfect for a picnic, as it offers stunning views across the valley. The Thames path is perfect for short walks of between 15 and 30 minutes.

The RIdgeway is an ancient chalk ridge and is often described as the nation's most popular walk along Britains oldest road. The 85 mile long Ridgeway is the perfect way to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life, taking you back thousands of years to when prehistoric man first walked the path
