Magdalen College Barge
The Magdalen Barge is a permanently moored Oxford College barge, originally built in 1927 and faithfully restored using the original blueprints. Capable of hosting a reception of up to 50 guests and a conference of up to 40 delegates, it’s in constant demand by organisers looking for a venue that’s truly unique.
The Barge is beautifully maintained, its split-level interior offers the ideal venue for a smaller function or for an evening reception connected with an event being held elsewhere within the hotel.
Set upon the river away from the main hotel building, this conference facility offers organisers a peaceful environment that is only occasionally disturbed by the local swans as they swim past.
